RG Class

Welcome to class RG. We hope that you have had a wonderful summer and we cannot wait to see you!

The Teaching Assistant in RG is Mrs Maissa-Brown.  Our PE day is Thursday.  Please come to school wearing school PE kit and earrings should be out or covered in tape. On Monday we go to Forest School, please ensure forest school clothes are in school.

We will update this page half termly with curriculum information but please do come and see us if you have any questions.

Essential Letters and Sounds - Oxford Owl

Each week we will carry out activities based around our topic in the following areas:

  • The Prime Areas: Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, Physical Development
  • The Specific Areas: Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts and Design
  • We also have daily Phonics sessions.

For your information:

  • Please ensure ALL of your child’s clothes and belongings are labelled (including Forest School kit and coats).
  • PE day is Thursday- Children will come to school dressed in PE attire.
  • Children require a Forest School kit every Monday.
  • Please ensure that you write in your child’s Reading Record book every time they read their book- we will change their book every Friday, once they have read 4 times and are fluent.
